During the later 1930’s a small but highly successful and rapidly growing company – Diesel Kiki Co., LTD was eagerly brought into the Bosch family. Diesel Kiki Co. had one passion, developing better and more productive fuel injection pumps for diesel engines. Domestic production for diesel fuel injection pumps in the Japanese market was dominated by Diesel Kiki Co from the start. The main reason was their superior ability to be consistent and reliable. During the early stages of operation a large manufacturer of diesel engines for heavy duty trucks and larger vehicles made a large investment in Kiki Diesel Co. In the early 1990’s Kiki Diesel was renamed Zexel Corp and a few years later they completed the reorganization under the Bosch umbrella in 2000 and became Bosch Automotive Systems Corp.

As of July 2005, Bosch K.K. had a merger with Bosch Automotive Systems Corp. and that is where they got their current name – simply Bosch Corporation. Bosch is extremely confident that this last merger will allow them to deliver the highest level of product and customer support. Developing better diesel fuel injection technologies with state of the art diesel processes through heavy research. The synergization of bringing the companies together lets them pool resources and talent while reducing cost.
